I'm impatient. So when it comes to editing I often look at work with still swollen eyes and rarely detach myself from the stories.
Still itching to escape and explore I decided to revisit some old scans from Texas and see if the images felt any different. It helped me break up the trip, rather than see it as one very long strange day.
This past month has been about working in a much more static way. The process has been less about stumbling across the unexpected and more about producing an image through thought and experiment. Revisiting these images reminds me how the timeless strolls can be cruel but blissful.
